Mohammed Rabii Biography

Rabii's journey began with his international debut in 2013 at the World Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Competing for Morocco, he faced Erkin Bolotbek Uulu from Kyrgyzstan. His career has been influenced by Moroccan boxer Hicham Nafil and US legend Muhammad Ali.

Coaching and Achievements

Rabii trains under coaches Dagoberto Scott, Mohamed Mesbahi, and Mohammed Darif. His dedication paid off when he was named the 2015 Boxer of the Year by the World Series of Boxing (WSB) after an undefeated season. That same year, he became the first Moroccan boxer to win a world championship title in Doha, Qatar.

In 2015, Moroccan kickboxing champion Badr Hari pledged to support Rabii financially, offering a monthly salary of around 600 USD until the 2016 Olympic Games. Hari also promised to help Rabii prepare for the Olympics. Rabii aims to work as a boxing coach after his competitive career.
