Asian Games 2023 Schedule for October 5: On day 17 of the competition at Hangzhou 2022, India's Squash contingent will eye for more medals, while the women's hockey team will eye a final spot.

After winning three medals already in Squash, the mixed doubles team of Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Sandhu as well as men's singles veteran Saurav Ghosal will be vying for gold medals in their respective events. The men's marathon participants will look to end the athletics events with yet another medal.

The Compound archery men and women's team also will be aiming to add to India's Asian Games 2023 Medal Tally on Thursday (October 5) when the shuttlers PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty pair will also be looking to confirm medals.

The wrestlers also will look to bring in medals as freestyle women will make their first appearance at the Asian Games 2023. Plus, roller skaters and sport climbing contingent will also look to swell the medal tally, which has already reached India's best haul in the continental event.
