Asian Games 2023 Table Tennis action starts on September 22 with the men and women's team events that will see Manika Batra and Achanta Sharath Kamal lead their respective sides. All the table tennis matches will be held at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Gymnasium in Hangzhou.
The team events action, which starts with the preliminary round matches, concludes with the medal matches on September 26 before the individual singles or doubles action starts on September 27 with the entire table tennis event concluding on October 2.

In the team event, there will be six groups with 16 teams progressing to the round of 16 and then the quarterfinal, that will both take place on September 24 followed by the semifinal on September 25 and the medal matches on September 26.
The team event will feature five matches per tie. Each tie will see five singles matches with the team winning three ties, clinching the tie and two points for their respective team. Here is all you need to know about the table tennis event from Asian Games schedule, results and points table:
In women's team event there will be 18 teams divided into six groups of three teams each. Each team will play two preliminary round matches against the other two teams of their respective group
The top two teams from Group E and F as well as the second placed team in Group A to D enter the round of 16, while the group winners from A to D at the end of the preliminary round will move into the quarterfinal directly. India are in Group F along with Nepal and Singapore.

In men's team event there will be 20 teams divided into six groups - four groups of three teams each and two groups of four teams each. Each team will play preliminary round matches against the remaining teams of their respective group
The top two teams from groups E and F as well as the second placed teams from Groups A to Dat the end of the preliminary round will move into the round of 16, while the group winners from Group A to D directly enter the quarterfinal. India are in Group F along with Tajikistan, Yemen and Singapore.
