The Indian men's hockey team, led by Harmanpreet Singh, will also be in the spotlight. Fresh off their bronze medal win at Tokyo 2020, the team will face Spain in the bronze medal match. A victory would mark back-to-back Olympic medals, a significant achievement for Indian hockey.
In athletics, hurdler Jyothi Yarraji will have another shot at making it to the finals in the women's 100m hurdles via the repechage round. After missing out in the initial heats, Yarraji will be looking to capitalize on this second chance and secure a spot in the final.
