Rio 2016: Mexican swimmers perform underwater dance on Bollywood song 'Aila Re Aila', enter finals

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 16: India may not be having good show at the ongoing Rio Olympics 2016, but the Indians had a moment to cheer at the sporting extravaganza when Mexican swimmers performed on a Bollywood song.

Mexico's synchronised swimmers performed their underwater dance routine to the Hindi song, 'Aila Re Aila', from Akshay Kumar's film.

Swimmers Karem Achach and Nuria Diosdado dived into the Olympic pool and performed to the tunes of the song from the 2010 film "Khatta Meetha".

The choreography included beautifully synchronised leg movements and hand gestures and reached the finals of the event.

The Mexican pair ended up at the ninth place and thus qualifying into the finals.
