Greater Noida, Sep 21: Ahead of the inaugural IndianOil Grand Prix of India, a group of renowned MotoGP riders descended onto a cricket pitch to test their sporting prowess outside of racing. The high-octane event is slated for September 22-24 at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida.
Among these dynamic riders were champions including Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Quartararo, Luca Marini, and Pol Espargaro. These adrenaline junkies took to gully cricket with great spirit, sending the cricket ball soaring into the stands with their robust shots.

Notable Indian cricket player Suresh Raina also joined the fun on the track, sharing the field with the fastest MotoGP rider, Brad Binder from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.
MotoGP riders also enthusiastically participated in a flash mob before stepping onto the cricket pitch. Figureheads Marco Bezzecchi, Jack Miller, Aleix Espargaro, Jorge Martin, and Alex Marquez were partnered with 30 gifted local dancers who drew attention to India's rich culture and the buzz around MotoGP.
Marco Bezzecchi from Mooney VR46 Racing Team (Ducati) expressed his thrill about being in India and the prospect of racing at the Buddh International Circuit in the IndianOil Grand Prix of India. He admired the beautiful track and recalled engagingly watching the emotion-charged Indian dance numbers during the flash mob.

Alex Marquez of Gresini Racing MotoGP (Ducati) conveyed his excitement to be in India for the first time and acknowledged the palpable anticipation among the fans for the race. He praised the track's design and assured the team's commitment to delivering an impressive race.
Coordinated by FairStreet Sports and Dorna Sports, the IndianOil Grand Prix of India boasts participation from 41 teams and 82 riders including big names such as Francesco Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, Marco Bezzecchi, Brad Binder, Jack Miller, and Jorge Martin across the MotoGP️, Moto2, and Moto3 categories.
