As a child, Nadya was thin and light. To enhance her health, her parents enrolled her in athletics. Coaches initially tested her at short distances but soon recognised her potential in high jump. She jumped 1.55m on her first attempt and was sent to the senior championships of Kazakhstan.

Club and Coaching

Nadya trains with the Altay Athletics Club in Kazakhstan. Her personal coach is Mikhail Frolov. Under his guidance, she has achieved remarkable milestones in her career.

Memorable Achievements

One of Nadya's most memorable achievements is competing at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Additionally, she broke the Asian high jump record with a jump of 2.00m at the 2021 National Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Nadya has received several accolades throughout her career. She and boxer Aslanbek Shymbergenov were named flag bearers for Kazakhstan at the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. She also holds the title of Master of Sport of International Class in Kazakhstan.
