Her success continued at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, where she was awarded the Order for Merits to the Fatherland [first grade]. In 2019, United World Wrestling named her Comeback Wrestler of the Year.
After the 2016 Olympics, she took a break from wrestling. During this period, she gave birth to her son Timur in 2018. She returned to the sport in 2019, although adjusting back was challenging. Motherhood had softened her approach to competition.
She holds a degree in Advertising and Economics from St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. Additionally, she completed a degree in sports studies at Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health.
