Peter Wilson Biography

A serious snowboarding injury to his shoulder prevented him from playing cricket or squash. This led him to pursue shotgun shooting, a sport introduced to him by his father. His dedication paid off when he won the 2006 European Junior Championships in Slovenia, just four months after starting competitive shooting.

Training and Coaching

He trains up to five times a week and is right-handed. Since 2008, he has been coached by Sheikh Ahmed al Maktoum from the United Arab Emirates. He represents Southern Counties Ltd in England.

Memorable Achievements

Winning the 2006 European Junior Championships remains one of his most memorable achievements. He recalls, "I had only started shooting competitively four months prior to the event!" His sporting philosophy is simple yet powerful: "Train hard and never give up!"

Overcoming Financial Hurdles
