Her training regime has also improved with a proper diet plan. "I did not follow any diet before I joined here, as I had to cook my own food. But now, I am given a proper diet, and my job is to solely focus on training," she added.
One of Preeti's most memorable achievements is winning two bronze medals at the 2024 World Championships in Kobe, Japan. This accomplishment has fueled her ambition to win a medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
Preeti's coach, Gajendra Singh, has been a significant influence on her career. She also looks up to Indian Para athletics competitor Simran Sharma. Her family and Fatima Khatoon, another Indian Para athletics competitor, have also played crucial roles in her journey.
Preeti believes that change is the only constant thing in life. "I believe change is the only constant thing, so going by that philosophy nothing is permanent, not even a life motto," she said.
Preeti studied Forestry at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut. She speaks both English and Hindi fluently. Apart from athletics, she enjoys drawing and running during her free time.
As Preeti continues to train and aim for higher goals, her dedication and hard work remain evident. With her eyes set on the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, she is determined to achieve even greater success.
