She began her journey in judo at the tender age of six, influenced by her brother. Her dedication to the sport has been unwavering since then. She is currently affiliated with the Japan Self Defence Forces (JSDF) Physical Training School in Kofu, Japan.

Under the guidance of national coach Katsuyuki Masuchi, she has honed her skills. The rigorous training at JSDF Physical Training School has prepared her for various competitions.
Her efforts have not gone unnoticed. In 2019, she received the Asaka Citizen Sports Award in Japan. The previous year, she was honoured with an Excellence Award by the Yamagata Sport Association.
Looking ahead, she aims to compete at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. This goal reflects her commitment to achieving excellence in judo.
