Auffarth's journey in equestrian sports began at age three. Initially interested in jumping, her mother encouraged her to learn dressage as well. Growing up on her family's farm, she developed a love for riding and vaulting.

Auffarth's passion for eventing stems from her childhood experiences. She enjoys the confidence, action, and fun that eventing offers. According to her, the interaction between rider and horse is unique, providing an incomparable feeling upon completing a cross-country course.

Club and Coaching

She represents RV Ganderkesee in Germany. Her national coach is Peter Thomsen. Under his guidance, Auffarth has achieved significant success in her career.

Memorable Achievements

One of Auffarth's most memorable achievements is winning two gold medals at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France. This accomplishment stands out as a highlight of her career.

Injuries and Challenges

In 2016, Auffarth suffered a bruised hip after a fall during the cross-country phase at an event in Wiesbaden, Germany. Despite this setback, she continued to excel in her sport.
