Sarah Robles Biography

Robles made her international debut in 2009 at the Pan American Championships in Chicago, IL, competing for the United States. She has been a member of Team Houston since then and has trained under coach Tim Swords since 2014.

In 2011, she was named Female Athlete of the Year by the Women's Sports Foundation. Robles also competed in shot put at college level in the United States.

Challenges and Health Issues

Robles has faced several health challenges. Diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in 2007, she has dealt with weight issues and other health problems. Additionally, she has Madelung's deformity in both arms, requiring wrist straps and warming creams during lifts.
