He resides in Cherkasy, Ukraine, and speaks both Russian and Ukrainian. He pursued higher education in Physical Education at Kamianets-Podilskyi National Ivana Ohiienka University in Ukraine. Additionally, he graduated from the Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after Chernobyl Heroes of National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine.

Sporting Career

He is a member of the Armed Forces club in Ukraine. Since 2003, he has been coached by Victor Nagniy. He shoots with his right eye and right hand. His dedication to the sport is evident through his achievements and accolades.

Achievements and Honours

In recognition of his silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he received the Order for Merits (third grade) of Ukraine. He also holds the title of Honoured Master of Sport in Ukraine.

Personal Life

Outside of his professional life, he enjoys hobbies such as billiards and fishing. He lives with his daughter in Cherkasy. His sporting philosophy is encapsulated by his motto: "Now or never."
