Oftedal currently plays for Gyori Audi ETO KC in Hungary. She is coached by Gabor Danyi at the club level and Thorir Hergeirsson for the national team. Her preferred position on the court is centre back, where she has excelled over the years.

International Debut

Oftedal made her international debut for Norway in 2010 against Iceland. Since then, she has been a vital part of the national team, contributing to their numerous successes on the international stage.

In March 2016, Oftedal missed a few weeks of training due to a hamstring injury. Despite this setback, she returned to form and continued to perform at a high level.

Her partner, Rune Dahmke, has represented Germany in handball and was part of the team that won gold at the 2016 European Championship in Poland. He also played for THW Kiel during the 2020/21 Handball-Bundesliga season.
