Kolesnichenko made her international debut in 2010 at the World Cup held in Changshu, China, representing Russia. Over the years, she has trained under notable coaches such as Tatiana Pokrovskaya, Tatiana Danchenko, and Olga Vasilchenko.

She has been honoured multiple times for her contributions to the sport. In 2017, she was named the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Female Artistic Swimmer of the Year. She shared this award with Svetlana Romashina in 2019 and 2021. Additionally, she was named Female Artistic Swimmer of the Year by the European Swimming Federation (LEN) in 2017, 2018, and 2021.

Personal Life and Education

Kolesnichenko resides in Moscow with her husband Andrey Arbuzov, who is also an accomplished swimmer. He has represented Russia in swimming and finswimming, winning gold medals at the 2017 World Games and the 2016 World Championships.

She holds a degree in Sports Psychology from the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism in Moscow. Fluent in both English and Russian, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and competing in dog shows during her free time.
