Her initial exposure to swimming showcased her natural ability. This led to an invitation from Yang Liping to train in Shenzhen. She currently represents Guangdong Province and the Shenzhen Swimming Team.

Her list of accolades is impressive. In 2021, she received the National May 1st Labour Medal from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. She was also named the flag bearer for Guangdong Province at the 2021 National Games.
