Her early start in sailing was driven by her mother's profession. As a single parent, her mother often had her around during courses. This constant exposure led to her early interest in the sport. She completed high school at 14 and graduated with honours in nutritional science from the University of Vienna three years later.

Professional Career

She is affiliated with Union Yachtclub Neusiedlersee in Austria and is coached by Luca Bursic. Her most memorable sporting achievement came at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where she won bronze in the Nacra 17 class with Thomas Zajac. This success earned them the title of 2016 Team of the Year by the Austrian Sports Journalist Association.

Challenges and Injuries

Throughout her career, she faced several challenges. In March 2014, she sustained a concussion after hitting her head on a mast. In September 2019, she underwent an operation on her sinuses. Despite these setbacks, she continued to excel in her sport.
