Wimbledon, Jul 15: Celebrities made a beeline to watch the Wimbledon 2023 women's singles finals between Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova on Saturday (July 15).

Marketa Vondrousova - who was the unseeded player in the competition - became the third Czech woman to win the ladies' singles title as she defeated Jabeur 6-4, 6-4 in straight games.

The All England Club shared images of the high-profile celebrities who graced the venue to watch the final showdown on its Twitter handle.

Bollywood and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra - who was recently seen in Amazon Prime Original show Citadel - was spotted at the Centre Court with the singer and actor husband Nick Jonas. Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield, of Amazing Spiderman fame, was also spotted at the SW19.

British actor Emma Watson - who is still loved by millions of Harry Porter fans for essaying the character of Hermoine Granger - was also captured by the camerapersons amongst the audience.

A couple of days back, veteran Indian actor and superstar of Malayalam cinema, Mohanlal, also arrived at the Centre Court to watch the game of tennis at one of the oldest grand slams.

Kate Middleton - the Dutches of Wales, a member of the Royal British Family - was captured by camerapersons sitting in the Royal Box along with legendary tennis player Billy Jean King.

In the women's singles final on Saturday (July 15), Ons Jabeur took on Marketa Vondrousova. They went into Saturday's title match with a combined record of 0-3 in major finals. The No. 6-seeded Jabeur, a 28-year-old from Tunisia, was the runner-up at Wimbledon and at the U.S. Open last season.

Jabeur is the only Arab woman or North African woman to participate in a Grand Slam singles final. The unseeded Vondrousova, a 24-year-old from the Czech Republic, lost in the 2019 French Open final as a teenager. She is the first unseeded finalist at Wimbledon since Billie Jean King made it that far in 1963.
