Arnaudov's initial foray into athletics saw him training in Sintra. His passion for shot put was reignited after his father's encouragement. He expressed that once he returned to shot put, he felt it was truly what he wanted to do. Since 2014, he has been coached by Volodymyr Zinchenko from Ukraine.

Arnaudov is affiliated with Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Portugal. This club has been instrumental in his development and success as a shot putter.

Injuries and Challenges

Throughout his career, Arnaudov faced several challenges. In January 2021, he tested positive for COVID-19, which halted his training for 14 days. Additionally, early in his career, he underwent surgery on the meniscus in his left knee.

Arnaudov's achievements have not gone unnoticed. In recognition of his performance at the 2016 European Championships in Amsterdam, Netherlands, he was named Commander of the Order of Merit by the president of Portugal on 13 July 2016.
