Krasilnikov's passion for volleyball runs in the family. His grandfather was a volleyball coach, and his father also played the sport. This familial influence guided him towards a career in volleyball. His wife, Ksenia Krasilnikova, represented Russia in youth-level volleyball and has worked as a coach.

Career Highlights

Krasilnikov made his international debut for Russia in 2012. He has played for Fakel Novy Urengoy and has been coached by Vyacheslav Nirka and Rivo Vesik. His preferred position is on the left side as a defender, and he is right-handed.

One of his most memorable achievements came in 2019 when he won gold at the World Championships in Hamburg, Germany. This victory marked the first time a Russian beach volleyball team secured gold at the world championships.

Awards and Recognition

In 2019, Krasilnikov and his partner Oleg Stoyanovskiy were named Kings of the Beach by the European Volleyball Confederation at the European Volleyball Gala in Sofia, Bulgaria. The same year, he received the title of Honoured Master of Sport in Russia.

Personal Life and Education

Krasilnikov resides in St. Petersburg with his wife Ksenia and their son Arseniy, born in 2018. He is fluent in English and Russian. He is also pursuing higher education in coaching from Kuban State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism in Krasnodar.

Outside of volleyball, Krasilnikov enjoys cars and tennis. His sporting philosophy is encapsulated by his motto: "Nothing is impossible." He looks up to Brazilian beach volleyball player Emanuel Rego as his idol.
