Valeriia Koblova Biography

Koblova made her international debut in 2011 at the World Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, representing Russia. Over the years, she has achieved significant milestones. In 2016, she won a silver medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. This achievement earned her the Order for Merits to the Fatherland [first class] in Russia.

Challenges and Injuries

Throughout her career, Koblova faced several injuries. In 2012, she injured her shoulder and missed a month of competition. A knee injury in 2015 prevented her from competing in the European Games in Baku. In 2017, she ruptured her cruciate ligament during the World Championships in Paris, requiring surgery.
