Bengaluru, February 27: The Road to Wrestlemania will definitely heat up on Smackdown Live with the return of the franchise player of the company.
The Tuesday Night show has lacked big names for a while now and it will be resolved with the confirmation of John Cena's return to the blue brand after almost a six months break.
Now, as per updates on WWE.com, the legendary superstar who does not have an opponent for Wrestlemania will try to find one on tonight’s show. He is supposed to go out of etiquette as spoken on WWE Raw Talk on Sunday night. This hinted at something major in store for him on tonight’s show,
“After a disappointing performance in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match on Sunday, John Cena vowed that his Road to WrestleMania was not cut short, promising to find a way to The Show of Shows. John Cena somberly reflected on his legendary career on Raw Talk while seemingly turning the gears in his head, looking for another opportunity to perform on The Grandest Stage of Them All.”
Now, this actually means that he is laying down a challenge to the a main-event superstar from Smackdown Live. We are talking about Shinsuke Nakamura who won the Royal Rumble 2018 to earn his opportunity to be part of the WWE Championship match. It is likely that Cena is returning to the blue brand in order to get in a collision course with the Artist.
According to an update provided on the social media sites, the former WWE Champion is expected to come to an agreement with the Rockstar of the WWE where the main event spot of Wrestlemania 34 will be on the line. This will set up a huge match between John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura at the WWE Fastlane PPV.
