Australia vs Netherlands: Continuing his rich vein of form, star Australia batter David Warner slammed his second consecutive century in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Warner has so far scored 332 runs, including two centuries, in 5 innings in the ongoing competition.
The explosive left-handed batter, who slammed a match-winning 163 against Pakistan at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, notched up a ton against the Netherlands at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Warner hit Bas de Leede towards the onside and comfortably took a double to get to the triple-figure-mark in 91 deliveries. It is the 22nd ODI century of his career in his 155th ODI in the Aussie yellow. The southpaw batted for 182 minutes and smashed 11 fours and three sixes en route to his century.
The Delhi crowd came out in good numbers to watch the game and started getting behind the Delhi Capitals' skipper and backed him to achieve yet another milestone. The chants of 'Warner-Warner' reverberated in the stadium whenever he took a strike in the 90s.
He had to, however, wait in the 90s for quite some time which heightened the tension of the fans at one stage. The Sydney batter, however, showed no signs of nervousness in the 90s and completed his ton.
Soon after completing his ton, Warner celebrated with his trademark jump and punch in the air and acknowledged the crowd by following it up with his 'Pushpa' - the popular Telugu movie - celebration.
Warner was given a reprieve on 73 after Roelof van der Merwe caught him at mid-off diving towards his right but the ball grazed the ground. The Aussie was quick to point towards the umpire that the catch wasn't clean and the replays vindicated the batter.
He was dismissed soon after getting to his century as Aryan Dutt caught him at fine leg off Logan van Beek's delivery. The Aussie had to depart for 104 off 93 deliveries and his team lost their fifth wicket, but not before he played his part in the game.
This is the fourth occasion when Warner has slammed two consecutive centuries in ODIs. He did it one time each against Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan. The previous three sets of back-to-back centuries came against similar oppositions. But these two came against Pakistan and Netherlands.
