PSL 2023 is currently being played across four venues with total of 34 matches to be played. The four venues for PSL 2023 are Karachi's National Stadium, Multan Cricket Stadium, Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium, and Rawalpindi's Pindi Cricket Stadium. The final will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium on March 19 (Wednesday).
The six franchises competing in season 8 are the founding franchises in Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators. Qalandars are the defending champions.
