SIX! Mohit Sharma to MS Dhoni. Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control over deep backward square leg for 6 runs.

MS Dhoni wins it with a six. Chennai can go into the playoffs with a good win behind them while Kings XI will have to regroup and try again next year.

The Kings XI tried extremely hard at the beginning and they used the swinging ball perfectly to take three quick wickets and restrict the runs. Unfortunately they didn't have a big enough total on the board to defend which meant Chennai could take their time.

The group stages are now over so the playoff matches are set. Sunrisers will take on Chennai in the first match while Kolkata meet Rajasthan on Wednesday. We are very close to knowing the winner of this year's IPL.
