CSK vs SRH IPL 2023: The match between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday (April 21) witnessed some heated exchange of words in match number 29 of IPL 2023.
CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja got involved in a heated argument with SRH wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai during SRH batting.

It all started on the first ball of the 14th over of the first innings when Klaasen - standing at the non-striker's end - came in the way of Jadeja's reflex catch. The new man-in Mayank Agarwal played it straight towards the non-striker's end and it was a regulation catch for the left-arm spinner.
Jadeja reached towards the ball but Klaasen didn't move away from the ball's trajectory. Jadeja - who is an excellent fielder - reached towards the ball to catch it but collided with the non-striker and couldn't hold on to the ball.
In the frustration of not being able to get his second wicket of the evening, the India all-rounder gestured at South Africa in anger for not moving away and denying him a wicket. Although, it wasn't a deliberate attempt from the non-striker.
Four balls later, Jadeja bowled a quicker delivery and outfoxed Mayank, who danced down the track and missed the ball completely, and wicketkeeper MS Dhoni effected the stumping with ease.
Agarwal was thus dismissed for 2 off 4 balls and made his long descent towards the dugout. While Jadeja was pumped up after getting the batter in the same over and also used some words which weren't liked by Klaasen.
The on-field umpires and CSK players had to separate the two and pacified both parties and avoided any more squirmish. Jadeja - who has been in sublime form with the ball - once again showcased his class and returned with impressive figures of 3/22.
The entire incident will, however, not go unnoticed by the match referee and the two teams will see some points being docked some 'Fair Play' points. While the two players might be penalised for breaching the IPL 'code of conduct'.
Meanwhile, CSK bowlers did a fantastic job in the first innings and restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 134/7 in the stipulated 20 overs after they were invited to bat first by MS Dhoni.
