- How ICC Women's Teams & Players' Rankings Are Calculated?ICC Team Rankings, devised by David Kendix, serve to evaluate women's teams in One-Day International and Twenty20 International cricket. This rating system involves dividing the points earned by the total from matches or series and rounding to the nearest whole number, akin to a batting average where points replace total runs and match/series total replaces dismissals.In total, the ICC Women's ODI Team Rankings rank 10 teams, while the ICC Women's T20I Team Rankings encompass all eligible Members based on matches played. This update aligns with the recent decision to confer T20I status on matches involving all 104 ICC Members and the USA. Updates to the rankings occur annually on 1 October.
