Most Runs in T20

Star Pakistan batsman Babar Azam currently holds the record for scoring most runs in the T20. Babar Azam tops the table with 4,596 runs as he has amassed in 145 T20 matches (136 innings) till date in the shortest format of the game at international level. The India batter has slammed 3 Century and 39 fifties in the T20 and aggregated runs consistently at a healthy average of 38.95.

Babar Azam is followed by Rohit Sharma and the charismatic India cricketer has scored 4,231 runs in 159 T20 matches and averages 32.05.

Till date, a total of 14 players have scored 3000-plus runs in the T20. The toppers in the list comprise of players from Pakistan, India, England, Ireland, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Malaysia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Three players from India (Rohit Sharma - 4,231 runs in 159 T20 matches, Virat Kohli - 4,188 runs in 125 T20 matches and Suryakumar Yadav - 3,272 runs in 113 T20 matches) feature in the list.

Two cricketers from Pakistan (Babar Azam - 4,596 runs in 145 T20 matches and Mohammad Rizwan - 3,414 runs in 106 T20 matches) and Australia (David Warner - 3,277 runs in 110 T20 matches and Aaron Finch - 3,120 runs in 103 T20 matches) present in the highest run-getters in the T20.

One cricketer each from England (Jos Buttler - 4,037 runs in 155 T20 matches) , Ireland (Paul Stirling - 3,895 runs in 163 T20 matches) , New Zealand (Martin Guptill - 3,531 runs in 122 T20 matches) , United Arab Emirates (Muhammad Waseem - 3,338 runs in 97 T20 matches) , Malaysia (Virandeep Singh - 3,228 runs in 114 T20 matches) , South Africa (Quinton de Kock - 3,095 runs in 110 T20 matches) and Zimbabwe (Sikandar Raza - 3,089 runs in 133 T20 matches) are also in the top 3000- plus runs.
