Most Runs in T20

Star India batsman Virat Kohli currently holds the record for scoring most runs in the T20. Virat Kohli tops the table with 4,037 runs as he has amassed in 117 T20 matches (109 innings) till date in the shortest format of the game at international level. The India batter has slammed 1 Century and 37 fifties in the T20 and aggregated runs consistently at a healthy average of 51.75.

Virat Kohli is followed by Rohit Sharma and the charismatic India cricketer has scored 3,974 runs in 151 T20 matches and averages 31.79.

Till date, a total of 11 players have scored 2500-plus runs in the T20. The toppers in the list comprise of players from India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia and England.

Three players from Pakistan (Babar Azam - 3,698 runs in 110 T20 matches, Mohammad Rizwan - 2,981 runs in 91 T20 matches and Mohammad Hafeez - 2,514 runs in 119 T20 matches) feature in the list.

Two cricketers from India (Virat Kohli - 4,037 runs in 117 T20 matches and Rohit Sharma - 3,974 runs in 151 T20 matches) , New Zealand (Martin Guptill - 3,531 runs in 122 T20 matches and Kane Williamson - 2,547 runs in 89 T20 matches) and Australia (Aaron Finch - 3,120 runs in 103 T20 matches and David Warner - 3,099 runs in 103 T20 matches) present in the highest run-getters in the T20.

One cricketer each from Ireland (Paul Stirling - 3,491 runs in 137 T20 matches) and England (Jos Buttler - 2,927 runs in 114 T20 matches) are also in the top 2500- plus runs.
