India have made a mountain of runs in the 4th Test against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
In reply to Australia's 480 in the first innings, the hosts are currently 568/7 and en route to amassing a mammoth total. Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli have already notched centuries, while Axar Patel scored another fifty with the bat in this Border Gavaskar Trophy.
Although Axar fell on 79 runs, Virat Kohli is still motoring along as he is just 21 runs away from yet another Test double century.
And amid their supreme batting display, the Indian team have created history in Test cricket. In the ongoing inning, India have put in 50+ partnerships for each of their first six wickets for the first time in Test cricket.
From their opening partnership to the 6th wicket partnership so far, all have been 50 runs and above - which has happened for the very first time for India in the longest version of the game.
The biggest partnership so far has been the 6th wicket partnership as Virat Kohli and Axar Patel have already stitched 162 runs.
Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started with a partnership of 74 runs. Gill and Pujara then added the first century stand for India in the match as the pair added 113 runs for the 2nd wicket. Despite Pujara's dismissal, Gill went on to score his second Test hundred and added 58 more runs with Virat Kohli.

Kohli then took the onus of batting and added some valuable runs with Ravindra Jadeja and KS Bharat in two different partnerships. And then the gigantic partnership came for the 6th wicket with Axar Patel. Virat Kohli got his elusive Test hundred after a gap of 1205 days, which is his 28th Test hundred.
