Basseterre (St. Kitts), July 17: Team India's second warm-up match with West Indies Cricket Board President's XI too ended in a draw here on Sunday.

The hosts ended their second innings at 223/6 from 86 overs after resuming their second innings at 26/1, when play was called off in the final session.

The visitors had finished their first innings on day two at 364 all out, after bowling out the hosts for 180 on the opening day. ('Beer trouble' for Team India players as BCCI asks youngsters to 'behave')

Here are the statistical highlights of the 3-day practice match:

Day 1:

India's spinners shine in first innings:

Indian spin troika of Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Amit Mishra kept their stranglehold on the inexperienced West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) President's XI to bowl them out for a paltry 180 on the first day of the final warm-up game.

Ashwin (3/62 in 19.5 overs) although rusty and Mishra (2/45 in 10 overs), who was a tad bit expensive, nevertheless complemented Jadeja by picking up crucial wickets with the home team were all out in 62.5 overs after opting to bat.

Jadeja was the real star of the day, who picked up wickets in two lengthy spells spanning 13 overs, and ran through the middle order. Jadeja used the bounce on offer to good effect and was nearly unplayable at times on account of his accuracy.

Shardul Thakur impresses with line and length:

Rookie Shardul Thakur (1/24), meanwhile, was impressive with his line and length and often beat the batsmen. He got the opening breakthrough, with skipper Leon Johnson (3) caught by a diving Stuart Binny at mid-off.

Indian openers fail to provide good start:

Openers Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan once again failed to give a decent start as the duo put on just 34 runs for the opening wicket. The right-hander looked at ease during his stay and the only mistake he made was when he chased a wide delivery to be caught behind off Chemar Holder.

Earlier, Dhawan too showed some patience at the crease and was out-scored by his partner. Just when he looked to be opening up, he played a loose stroke to be caught at backward point off Jason Dawes (1-15).

Cheshwar Pujara (28) too was dismissed in the final over of the day while trying to turn one onto the leg-side. Thus, India lost three wickets in the first day of the game.

Day 2:

Kohli, Jadeja, Rahul hit half centuries:

Half-centuries from KL Rahul (64 from 127 balls; 9x4, 1x6), skipper Virat Kohli (51 from 94 balls; 4x4) and leg-spinner Ravindra Jadeja (56 from 61 balls; 8x4) helped the visitors end their first innings on 364 from 105.4 overs.

Jadeja, who had returned with impressive figures of 3/16 while bowling on the opening day, hit a superb 61-ball 56 down the order.

The Indian skipper reached his fifty in no time, but just as he was looking to get some more time under his belt, he was trapped LBW by Rahkeem Cornwall (5/118).

Rahane-Saha too contributed with the bat:

After lunch, Rahul did not come out to bat and it was Ajinkya Rahane (32 from 77 balls; 5x4) who accompanied Kohli to the crease. Rahane (32 from 77 balls; 5x4) added 44 runs with Stuart Binny (16), before the latter was caught behind off the same bowler. He was looking well set until then, playing some choice strokes, but a sharp turner ballooned to leg slip as he prodded forward.

Wriddhiman Saha (31 from 47 balls; 5x4) batted fluently for a bit as well, before Jadeja failed to respond to his call for a second run, and he was run-out. As such, India lost four wickets in the second session.

Day 3:

Indian bowlers, with the exception of Ashwin, were far from impressive as they struggled for wickets on the third and final day of the second tour match against the West Indies Board President's XI which ended in a draw.

Ashwin (3/59) impressed with his off-spin as he grabbed two more wickets after scalping one home side batsman.

Other Indian bowlers struggled to get wickets:

No other Indian bowlers managed to get wickets and offered any resistence. Indian pacers were also far from impressive in the first tour match against West Indies Board President's XI earlier this week.

Shardul Thakur (0/26) and Ravindra Jadeja (1/42) started the day's proceedings, and the Mumbai pacer got some movement immediately. He was on the mark with his line and length, just as in the first innings and troubled the batsmen. However, unlike day one, he was not able to garner any success.

Action now shifts to the four-match series with the first Test beginning in Antigua on July 21.
