New Delhi, May 5: The ongoing Indian Premier League 2016 (IPL 9) has witnessed some acrobatic fielding and fantastic display of catches.
The wicketkeeper-batsman took a brilliant running catch to end the 42-run third wicket stand between MS Dhoni and Ajinkya Rahane.
RPS were cruising comfortably towards victory when Imran Tahir bowled a quicker and fuller delivery on middle and leg stump, which Dhoni swung towards deep midwicket, where young Billings jumped up high near the rope and took an epic blinder.
A visibly surprised MS Dhoni could only admire the brilliant piece of fielding from the Australian as he walked towards the dug-out.
Riding on opener Ajinkya Rahane's fifth half-century of the tournament and Thisara Parera's explosive cameo, after Dhoni's departure, Supergiants defeated Daredevils by seven wickets. Chasing 163, Pune got off to a brilliant start with Rahane and Usman Khawaja (30) laying a solid platform.
