Fleming, during post-match conference, said he was very much disappointed with team's frontline bowler R Ashwin.

When asked about the turning points of in the game that went down the wire Fleming said, "There were lots of turning points in the game there were a lot of scenarios when we let the pressure off. Two or three overs were 'ok' but next few overs were not good enough on this pitch."
Pune Supergiants' dismal performance in the ongoing tournament is responsible for its fourth successive loss. After the loss, a visibly disappointed MS Dhoni said his bowlers failed to execute the plans yet again.
"It was the length (on where they lost the game). I thought it was difficult to hit the spinners as I told them not to pitch it up. But, I think after that there were some 5-6 sixes hit and we gave away 30 runs too many.
"When you have the bat or ball in your hand, it is up to you, nobody can help you. There are many bowlers who are not part of a settled team, that is something we need to look into. We also should score 10-15 runs more."
At one time Supergiants looked comfortably winning the match but poor bowling performance cost them the match.
