Mohammed Shami must be beaten up on the road: Hasin Jahan

New Delhi, March 20: Mohammed Shami's estranged wife Hasin Jahan continued her scathing attack on the Indian cricketer and reiterated that he's having an affair with the Pakistani girl Alishba.

A day after media reports quoted the rumoured Pakistani girlfriend of the India pacer, Jahan has claimed that the UP-born cricketer had physical relations with Alishba after meeting her in Dubai.

Alishba in an interview to ABP News stressed that she is just a fan of Shami and refuted the allegations of having sexual relations with the pacer and involving in match-fixing. Alishba revealed that she came in contact with the speedster on social media after 2017 Champions Trophy and they became friends.

"I am one of his followers, which is how I became Shami's friend. Just like he has lakhs of followers, I am one among those normal fans. I have sent him messages," Alishba was quoted as saying by the private news channel as saying.

"As a person, I really like Shami. As any fan that has idolised a celebrity, they always dream of meeting their idol. I have a lot of respect for him and we became good friends. We had a normal conversation," she was quoted further as saying.

She further admitted to having met the cricketer at a hotel in Dubai but that was just friendly meeting and nothing else.

Meanwhile, Jahan continued her verbal volleys against Shami and also targetted Alishba.

"Alishba is not Shami's fan. She can be his girlfriend, she can be a prostitute. If a girl secretly meets a man, hiding it from her family, does dirty things, shares a room. She had come to destroy my married life, malign my husband. But my husband is no less either," Hasin Jahan told media on Monday (March 19).

"I had told you many times that Alishba has a relation with Shami. They had met in Dubai to do dirty things. They had planned this since January. Was it only restricted to breakfast? It ended up in bed," she added.

Jahan then urged the Kolkata Police to even arrest Shami and his family members.

She added further,"All of you should have accompanied me to beat Shami. He should be beaten up on the road. How many girls' life is he going to destroy?"

Earlier in the day reports confirmed that the BCCI has informed the Kolkata Police that the cricketer went to Dubai after taking part in the Test series against South Africa and stayed there for a couple of days in February.
