ODI World Cup 2023: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has made a remarkable announcement ahead of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, scheduled to be held in India. The CWC 2023, which is the biggest spectacle in the global cricket calendar, has been endowed with a monumental prize pot of USD 10 million.
The global cricket body has already announced that the winners of this grand event are slated to receive a whopping amount of USD 4 million from the overall pool. The team finishing as the runners-up in the final, scheduled for November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, will be rewarded with a sum of USD 2 million.

As all the 10 participating teams in the mega showpiece event will face off against each other once in the Group Stage in the single round-robin format, there is dedicated prize money for every game.
The top four teams in the points table will proceed to the semi-finals and will be able to win a bigger prize money. The two losing semi-finallist teams will receive a sum of USD 80,000 from the International Cricket Council. The teams winning their semi-final games will be eligible to bag the prize money of USD 4 million, as mentioned already.
There's also an exciting reward for every team as the winner of every game in the Group Stage, will get richer by USD 40,000 with each victory. The six teams which will fail to qualify for the semi-finals will receive USD 100,000 each from the ICC. If Team India end up winning all their league-stage games, they'll get richer by USD 360,000.
