The auction date for the Women's Premier League has been announced by the BCCI. The highly-anticipated WPL 2024 Auction is scheduled to be held in Mumbai on December 9.
On Friday (November 24), the BCCI disclosed the roster of players released and retained by the five WPL franchises. The second season of WPL is slated for February-March next year, with the Mumbai Indians initiating their defense of the title in the premier domestic T20 tournament.

In a Friday announcement, the five WPL franchises-Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Giants, and UP Warriorz-unveiled the list of players released and retained in anticipation of the WPL Auction.
