Elizabeth Deignan Biography

Deignan represented Great Britain in track cycling at the world championships in 2008, 2009, and 2010. She won five medals during this period. Her first coach, Phil West, played a significant role in shaping her career. She idolised British heptathlete Denise Lewis.

Injuries and Challenges

Throughout her career, Deignan faced several injuries. In 2008, she had an operation on her back due to a spinal stress fracture.
