Reizlin resides in Kyiv with his wife Natalia and their two sons. He is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. He pursued higher education in coaching at the National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sport in Kyiv.

Sporting Career

Reizlin represents the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is coached by his father, Dmytro Reizlin. He is right-handed and has a passion for reading, playing the guitar, and cooking. His most memorable sporting achievement came in 2019 when he won individual bronze and team silver in epee at the World Championships in Budapest.

Challenges and Philosophy

In 2010, Reizlin suffered a foot injury during a qualification bout at the World Championships in Paris, which forced him to withdraw from the competition. Despite such setbacks, he remains motivated by his parents and lives by the motto: "The main thing is not how many times you fall, but how often you rise after that."

Awards and Honours

Reizlin's achievements have not gone unnoticed. He received the Order of Merit (third class) from the president of Ukraine for his bronze medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. The Ukrainian epee team was named the 2019 Team of the Year by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. Additionally, he holds the title of Honoured Master of Sport in Ukraine.

Historical Milestone

Reizlin made history by becoming the first male fencer representing Ukraine to win an Olympic medal in individual epee when he claimed bronze at the 2020 Games in Tokyo.
