Manisha Ramadass Biography

Until 2019, she competed in able-bodied tournaments at state and national levels. It was only after seeing other players that her disability became apparent to her. Despite this, she continued to excel in the sport.

In mid-2022, she faced a significant setback with a knee injury that kept her out of action for two months. She made a strong comeback in August 2022, demonstrating her resilience and dedication.

Training and Achievements

She trains for up to eight hours a day at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy in India. Her coaches, Umendra Rana and Sagar Chopda, play a crucial role in her development.

Her hard work paid off when she won gold in the women's SU5 singles at the 2022 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan. This victory stands as one of her most memorable achievements.
