She currently plays for Beijing Hua Ying, based in Beijing, China. Her training is overseen by two coaches: Lu Yuansheng, who is the national coach, and Li Sun, her personal coach. Their guidance has been instrumental in her development as a player.

Playing Style and Technique

She uses the shakehand grip and plays right-handed. This technique has served her well throughout her career, allowing her to compete at the highest levels of the sport.

Memorable Achievements

One of her most memorable achievements was winning both the singles and doubles titles at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. She partnered with Wang Nan for the doubles event. This victory remains a highlight of her career.

Injuries and Challenges

Her career has not been without challenges. She missed the 2007 Tournament of Champions in Changcha, China due to injuries to her cervical vertebra and pelvic area. In May 2005, she fractured her right wrist during training but returned to practice by July 2005.

In January 2004, she broke her coccyx in a training accident. An MRI scan revealed that the injury was not severe enough to keep her out of the world championships or the Olympic Games that year.

Apart from table tennis, she enjoys swimming and other sports. These activities provide a balance to her rigorous training schedule and help maintain her overall fitness.
