An impressive bowling display from Afghanistan has limited Ireland to just 142/8 in the Third T20I in Greater Noida. Naveen-ul-Haq got them off to the perfect start with a couple of wickets in the powerplay and he returned at the death to pick up a third victim. In between, Kevin O'Brien and Gareth Delany fought back with a partnership of 62. Harry Tector also managed to get a few away for the men in green but debutant Qais Ahmad kept pulling them back with regular strikes. It should be a simple chase for Afghanistan, however Ireland will keep fighting right until the end.

What a thriller we have seen in Greater Noida today, a nail-biter that went right to the wire. When Afghanistan cruised to 51/0 after the powerplay it seemed as though the rest would be a canter, but Ireland scrapped hard to stay in the contest. Two wickets in an over for Gareth Delany and then two in two balls for Simi Singh turned the match on it's head as the hosts wilted under the pressure. The tourists death bowling was fantastic, however Rashid Khan wasn't going to give up and his remarkable hitting tied the scores thanks to a towering six and smoked four off the last ball. So into the super over we went and Craig Young held his nerve by limiting Afghanistan to just eight runs. Rashid Khan, who else, was trusted to do the job for his team but Kevin O'Brien kept cool to smash the last ball for six when three were needed. A fantastic match to end a wonderful series, full of entertainment and skill.
