  • 19.6

FOUR! Mohammad Amir to Jhye Richardson. Half volley, off stump backing away driving, thick edge in the air uncontrolled past third man for 4 runs. Richardson flings the bat out, and gets a luck edge away to the third man fence.

A good total posted on the board by Australia, but it could have been a few more. Finch and Short got them off to the perfect start, but the middle order couldn't really carry that on. 200 was on the cards, especially with the terrible fielding on display, but Pakistan bowled superbly at the death, taking regular wickets. Should be an exciting chase to come.

  • 19.5

Mohammad Amir to Jhye Richardson. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, to deep cover for 2 runs, fielded by Zaman.

  • 19.4

OUT! Bowled. Mohammad Amir to Andrew Tye. Yorker, middle stump no foot movement driving, missed to. Quality death bowling from Amir. Executes the yorker to perfection, and Tye is unable to dig it out. Slides underneath the bat, and the middle stump goes flying out the ground.

  • 19.3

Mohammad Amir to Andrew Tye. Back of a length, down leg side on the back foot pulling, missed to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Ahmed.

  • 19.2

  • 19.1

OUT! Caught. Mohammad Amir to Travis Head. Half volley, middle stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to long on, by Ali. Head strikes it quite nicely, but he cannot get the elevation to clear the long on fielder. Very full, and hacked into the hands of Hasan Ali. Pakistan are dragging themselves back into the contest.

  • End of Over 19
Over 19. 9 runs. Bowler: Andrew Tye. Pakistan: 182/4 (rr 9.58)
  • 18.6

OUT! Bowled. Hasan Ali to Ashton Agar. Half volley, to leg on the front foot driving, missed to. Full, straight, and Agar misses his swipe. Perhaps done for pace, maybe expecting a slower delivery. The ball skids past the edge to clatter into off stump.

  • 18.4

FOUR! Hasan Ali to Ashton Agar. Half volley, to leg on the front foot driving, well timed past long off for 4 runs. Mid off is up in the ring, so Agar just has to clear him to get the boundary. Decent connection, gets underneath the ball, and it flies away for a one bounce four.

  • 17.4

OUT! Caught. Faheem Ashraf to Alex Carey. Half volley, middle stump on the front foot driving, to mid off, by Khan. Pakistan have been dreadful in the field this morning, but my word that is sensational. Looked like it would be four the moment it left the bat, but Shadab had other ideas. Full length dive to his right at mid off, and he plucks it low to the ground with one hand. Remarkable.

  • 17.3

Faheem Ashraf to Travis Head. Half volley, middle stump on the front foot driving, to mid off for 1 run, fielded by Khan.

  • 17.3

  • 17.2

SIX! Faheem Ashraf to Travis Head. Length ball, to leg on the front foot Slog, well timed in the air under control over long on for 6 runs. Don't bowl there at this stage. Head clears the front leg, and pumps this way back.

  • 16.5

FOUR! Shaheen Afridi to Travis Head. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past deep extra cover for 4 runs. Smeared through the covers now. Afridi goes to full, and it gets creamed between extra and mid off.

  • 16.4

FOUR! Shaheen Afridi to Travis Head. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot Steer, well timed past deep backward point for 4 runs. Class from Head. Opens up the face, and dabs this behind backward point. The timing is so good, that it beats the chase from the third man fielder.

  • 16.3

Shaheen Afridi to Alex Carey. Half volley, off stump on the front foot flick, to deep square leg for 1 run, fielded by Ali.

  • 16.2

OUT! Caught. Shaheen Afridi to D'Arcy Short. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed to extra cover, by Farhan. Australia starting to lose a few wickets towards the end of this innings. It might lose them some momentum. Short has been scratchy throughout. Driven on the up, but chipped to extra cover for a simple chance.

  • 15.4

OUT! Caught. Mohammad Amir to Marcus Stoinis. Full toss, outside off stump on the front foot driving, in the air uncontrolled to deep point, by Zaman. That's a bonus for Pakistan. Horrendous delivery from Amir. Full toss, very wide, and should've been struck to the boundary. Stoinis carves it over the offside, but picks out the man sweeping in the deep.

  • 15.3

Mohammad Amir to Marcus Stoinis. Short, down leg side on the back foot cutting, missed to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Ahmed.

  • 19.2

FOUR! Marcus Stoinis to Asif Ali. Off cutter back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control past deep mid wicket for 4 runs.

Pakistan seal the victory and win the tri-series final! A marvellous chase, their highest ever in T20Is. Fakhar Zaman was the man to do the damage. A brutal 91 runs took the stuffing out the Aussie bowlers, before Shoaib Malik showed composure to get them across the line. Both sides were absolutely atrocious in the field, but Pakistan had that extra edge with the ball and bat. A fantastic game of cricket to end a very enjoyable series.

  • 18.1

FOUR! Andrew Tye to Shoaib Malik. Length ball, outside off stump backing away driving, well timed in the air under control past deep backward point for 4 runs. Sliced over backward point by Malik, intentionally scooping it over the infield. Gets the length he was after, and put it away to the fence.

  • 17.1

SIX! Jhye Richardson to Shoaib Malik. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, well timed in the air under control over deep mid wicket for 6 runs. Malik gets a good piece of this. He is such an experienced finisher in this format. Clears the front leg, and dispatches the ball over the mid wicket boundary.

    Fakhar Zaman c (Sub) b Jhye Richardson 91 (46)

OUT! Caught (Sub). Jhye Richardson to Fakhar Zaman. Short, down leg side on the back foot cutting, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep backward point, by Finch. Fakhar tries to lift the ball over short third man, but ends up dragging the shot a lot squarer than he wanted. Struck quite nicely, but picks out the man on the boundary edge. Super knock from the Pakistan opener. It has given his side a big chance of winning this game.

  • 14.6

FOUR! Marcus Stoinis to Fakhar Zaman. Off cutter short, down leg side on the back foot cutting, past deep point for 4 runs, mis-fielded by Agar. Oh dear. That sums up Australia's last few overs. Cracked out to Agar on the point fence, and he doesn't take the spin on the ball into account. Tries to adjust to make the stop, but slips over to look even more foolish.

  • 14.5

FOUR! Marcus Stoinis to Fakhar Zaman. Off cutter short, down leg side backing away cutting, well timed past deep cover for 4 runs. Hardly any pace on the ball, so Zaman has to generate it all himself. Slapped over extra cover, and it skips away for another boundary.
