Player Of The Match
  • 19.6

Corey Anderson to Rahul Tewatia. Yorker, outside off stump on the front foot driving, missed to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by de Kock.

Breathtaking stuff from Rishabh Pant which has taken Delhi to 174-5. In the early stages they were struggling to score runs but they had a platform set to unleash from. Pant and Shreyas Iyer were the two men to take control and they produced some wonderful hitting. RCB will need their big players to bat well to chase this down, but dew could become an issue for the bowlers later on.

The reverse doesn't pay off today. Instead of powering over short third man the ball goes up which gives Siraj a chance. Even still, he has to make good ground before a full length dive finishes it off. Brilliant catch and dismisses a dangerous batsman.

FOUR! Trent Boult to AB de Villiers. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past deep extra cover for 4 runs.

Sweetly played through the covers. A classical cricket shot to end what has been a marvellous innings from AB de Villiers. He ends on 90 from just 39 deliveries which has included 15 boundaries and only five dot balls faced. What a player. More importantly for RCB they get a crucial victory which takes them off the bottom and into the middle of the table with four points. For Delhi their sluggish start proved costly with not enough runs on the board to defend. Come back tomorrow for another IPL double-header.

  • 14.4

FOUR! Chris Morris to AB de Villiers. Off cutter length ball, down leg side on the front foot pulling, well timed past deep backward square leg for 4 runs. Not the right line to bowl. The thought is right to try and cramp up de Villiers but the execution is off.

  • 14.3
