  • Bangladesh have won four of all their five women’s T20Is against Netherlands (L1), including a 13-run victory when they last met earlier this year (4 June 2026 at Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh); however, this will be their inaugural meeting at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
  • Netherlands have won only one of their last five women’s T20Is (L4) – an eight-run victory against Bangladesh (31 May 2026); they’ve lost each of their two games since then, the last time they recorded a longer losing run in the format was a three-match span in August 2023.
  • Bangladesh have won their last two women’s T20Is after losing five consecutive games in the format prior; they won the coin toss on the day in each of those five defeats.
  • This is set to be Netherlands’ first ICC Women’s T20 World Cup match; they have already recorded two wins against ICC full member teams in 2026 (def. Zimbabwe by 22 runs on 18 January and Bangladesh by 8 runs on 31 May) – it’s the first time in the history of the format they’ve logged more than one victory in a calendar year against such opposition.
  • Bangladesh conceded 1.61 runs per scoring shot when they bowled at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, the second-best average of any team in the tournament (Pakistan – 1.51).
  • Netherlands have scored fewer than 90 runs in each of their last two women’s T20Is (L2); the last time they did so in more consecutive batting innings in the format was a span of four in September 2023 (W3 L1).
  • Sobhana Mostary scored 34% of Bangladesh’s runs when she played at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, the best rate of any player for a team in the tournament; she wasn’t dismissed in her most recent T20I innings overall (11* vs Netherlands on 4 June 2026).
  • Sterre Kalis (1,949) is 51 away from becoming the first player to score 2,000 runs for Netherlands in women’s T20Is; she scored 87* against Scotland earlier this year (20 January 2026), although has logged fewer than 30 runs in eight of her nine T20I innings since then.
  • Rabeya Khan (49) is one away from reaching 50 women’s T20Is for Bangladesh; however, she has failed to pick up a wicket in three of her last five innings in the format, while picking up exactly one wicket in each of the other two.
  • Robine Rijke (Netherlands) recorded a batting dot ball rate of 27.4% from 73 balls faced in Netherlands’ most recent multigame women’s T20I series against Bangladesh and Scotland earlier this month – the best rate of any player in the campaign (min. 20 balls faced).
