  • Bangladesh have won each of their last two women’s ODIs against Pakistan played at neutral venues, having lost each of their three such encounters prior to that; the latter, however, won the only match in the format between these two teams played in Sri Lanka by 67 runs.
  • Pakistan have won six of their eight women’s ODIs played in 2025, a win here will see the equal their most wins in the format in a single calendar year (also 2011 and 2015); their 75% win-rate this year is also the Women in Green’s best in any calendar year where they have played at least four matches in the format.
  • Bangladesh have recorded seven wins in women’s ODIs against Pakistan, their joint highest such tally against any full member nation (also Ireland); Pakistan, on the other hand, have beaten Bangladesh eight times in the format, only winning more often against Ireland (16), Sri Lanka and West Indies (11 each).
  • Pakistan have won six of their last eight women’s ODIs, after having been winless in each of their previous ten such games prior to that (T2 L8); however, they have only won one of their last 21 matches at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup (L20).
  • Bangladesh have won four of their eight women’s ODIs since the start of 2025, a win here will see them achieve their outright most victories in the format in any calendar year; in fact, the Tigresses’ batting run rate of 4.32 this year is only bettered by the 4.36 they tallied in 2021.
  • Pakistan have scored 250+ in an innings twice in women’s ODIs since the start of 2025, never before have they done so more times in a calendar year (also 2018 and 2022); however, they have lost both games where they crossed the 250+ mark this year.
  • Nahida Akter has picked up 10 wickets in women’s ODIs since the start of 2025, making her the only Bangladesh bowler to record 10+ scalps in the format in the three different calendar years (13 in 2021, 20 in 2023).
  • Nashra Sandhu (104) is five wickets away from overtaking Nida Dar (108) as the outright second highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in women’s ODIs (Sana Mir – 151); Sandhu picked up six wickets in her most recent game in the format (6/26 v South Africa on 22 September), the second best bowling figures by any Pakistan bowler in the format (Sajjida Shah – 7/4 vs Japan in 2003).
  • Nigar Sultana has scored 334 runs in women’s ODIs since the start of 2025, the third most by any Bangladesh player in a single calendar year (Fargana Hoque – 460 in 2023, Sharmin Akhter – 356 in 2025); in fact, no Tigresses batter has recorded 200+ runs in a year in the format more often than Sultana has (four times – also 2017, 2022 and 2023).
  • Sidra Amin has recorded six 50+ scores in women’s ODIs since the start of 2025, the joint second most by any player in the ongoing calendar year alongside Pratika Rawal (Smriti Mandhana – 7); in fact, she’s the only Pakistan batter to have recorded five or more 50+ scores in the format in a single year, doing so twice (5 in 2022).
