In 2001, Chaminda Vaas played for Sri Lanka in the ODI and delivered an exceptional performance against Zimbabwe. He achieved the best bowling figures in ODI history by taking a 8 wickets and conceding only 19 runs. Shahid Afridi, who played for Pakistan in the ODI, showcased his remarkable bowling skills by taking 7 wickets in an innings while only conceding 12 runs in 9 overs. This outstanding performance puts him right after Chaminda Vaas as one of the best bowlers in the history of ODI.
