OUT! Bowled. Nathan Lyon to Ravindra Jadeja. Off break length ball, outside off stump down the track Slog, missed to. Bit of a wild heave across the line and Jadeja misses a straight delivery and the chance for another Test ton. Lyon deservedly picks up his fourth wicket after bowling for nearly 58 overs. And on the stroke of that wicket Kohli calls in the troops and decides he wants to have a quick bowl at the openers tonight. Australia have been well and truly dominated today and their bowlers will be incredibly tired after 167 overs in the field. This is going to be a tricky session for the Aussie openers coming up against fresh bowlers and with nothing to gain.

OUT! L.B.W. Verified by umpire after REFERRAL. Kuldeep Yadav to Josh Hazlewood. Googly length ball, outside off stump on the front foot defending, hit pad to. That's plumb, an easy one for the umpire and Kuldeep eventually finishes with five wickets. A fantastic effort by the young legspinner on his first appearance in this country. Hazlewood didn't pick the googly and was pinned right in front, before the almost customary review is used in vain. It looks like the follow-on has been enforced.

Welcome to the final day of the Test series, in what has been a terrific few weeks if you are an Indian fan, not so much for the Australian folk, though. All today will determine is whether the final score will finish 2-1, or 3-1, to the visitors. The hosts will want to see their side fight it out for the draw, and show that this inexperienced batting line up has shown progress in recent times. India will win their first ever series in this part of the world, so why not make it more flattering? They have been much the better team in all three departments, and fully deserve their rewards. Whatever the result today, let us hope the players put on a show for the spectators to cap off a compelling series.

A disappointing start to today, as there is some light drizzle in the air. Hopefully that passes quickly and we can get back to the cricket.

A tepid way to finish the match, and series. Unfortunately no play today, and that means things end in a draw, with India taking home a 2-1 victory. The attention will now turn to the white ball format, with the first of three ODIs beginning on Saturday. Do join us for that.

Virat Kohli can feel pretty pleased with the way things have gone today despite the rain and the pesky last wicket stand.
