The Indian bowlers bowled well and respect is due to Bumrah and Chahal inparticular who kept things tight. The New Zealanders will be dissapointed with the result, they struggled to get going and didn't put bat onto ball well enough. A thrilling start to life for the Greenfield Internation Stadium, India's 50th venue for international cricket. The eight-overs-a-side competition lived up to expectations and India, and the home fans, got the result they were looking for. No batsman managed to take charge in the game and the bowlers ruled roost at the end of the day. India win the series 2-1 and win the game by six runs.
