Harare, August 20: India beat Zimbabwe by 5 wickets in the 2nd ODI at the Harare Sports Club here on Saturday (August 20), and in the process also wrapped up the series 2-0 with a match to go.
Once again India decided to bowl first after winning the toss and their bowlers answered to the call of duty in a brilliant fashion.
India restricted Zimbabwe to 161 all out despite them missing pacer Deepak Chahar, the man of the match performer in the first ODI.
Shardul Thakur replaced Chahar in the 11 but covered the absence of the latter in a fine fashion taking 3 wickets.
India lost wickets while chasing, half of their side to be precise, but that was just a minor iritant as there were not enough runs on the board for them to exert any pressure on India.
