Islamabad United vs Lahore Qalandars Live Streaming, PSL 2023 Heavyweights Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars will face off in the battle for the top spot in match 26 of Pakistan Super League 8 on Thursday.

Qalandars, however, are sweating over the form of their openers as Fakhar Zaman hasn't scored runs in last three innings while Mirza Tahir Baig was dropped from the team for the last game. His replacement Shawaiz Irfan couldn't make an impact either with a duck.

However, likes of Shafique Abdullah, Sikandar Raza, Hussain Talat, and Shaheen Afridi build for a strong middle order. The latter two also scored half-centuries in the last game, albeit for a losing cause to Peshawar Zalmi.

David Wiese and Rashid Khan provide further depth in the batting order with the Afghan spinner also leading the spin attack with 11 wickets in six games.

Among pacers, skipper Shaheen is back in the Green cap race with 14 wickets tally as he took 4-for in the last game. Haris Rauf is in good form as well with seven wickets in four games, taking his overall tournament tally to ten wickets.

For Islamabad United, there are opening concerns as well with Alex Hales not scoring runs while Rahmanullah Gurbaz not making most of the good starts.

However, the good form of Colin Munro, Azam Khan, and Faheem Ashraf in the middle order gives them much solidity. Also, Shadab Khan returned to form with the bat with a knock off 44, which was more than his tally of runs (28) before the innings.

Khan also took two wickets in the match to end his two-match wicketless run. Hasan Ali, meanwhile, is expected to return to the line-up as the likes of Mohammad Wasim and Rumman Raees are either leaking runs or not picking enough wickets.
